Since launching in 2023, IMAHELPS ECUADOR has successfully carried out three major medical missions across Ecuador, each made possible by the extraordinary generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteer teams. Our first large-scale mission took place in March 2024 in Quito, where our team of volunteer physicians and support staff worked long 9-hour days for a full week, seeing hundreds of patients across multiple locations. From general medicine to surgery, pain management, gynecology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and pharmacy services, our team provided comprehensive care to many people who had gone too long without access to anyone.

In September 2024, our second mission took us to the village of Bellavista on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos. From September 2–5, we transformed the local sports center into a temporary clinic where volunteer specialists in internal medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, dentistry, and pain therapy provided free care and comfort to local residents. Our logistics team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every patient was received and treated with dignity.

Recently, in April 2025, we completed our third mission to Cayambe, Ecuador. From April 6–10, we set up a temporary medical camp at Las Cabañas de Nápoles and served 1,243 patients, providing a total of 2,506 medical, dental, and pain management services. Across all three missions, we distributed prescription medications and vitamins, thanks entirely to the generosity of our donors. Each mission reflects our shared commitment to sustainable access to healthcare and our belief in the power of human connection to bring healing and hope.

Looking ahead, in 2026, we are identifying the area of greatest need in Ecuador for our next mission, planned for July 2026. This program will include surgical, medical, dental, and pain management services, continuing our commitment to holistic and sustainable care. To make this mission possible, we are actively seeking the support of donors and volunteers who share our vision of accessible healthcare for all. With your help, we can continue providing healing, dignity, and hope to those most in need.

Targeted populations: People deprived of access to medical, dental, and pain management care due to poverty.
